New studies show that Humic Acid actually degrades CWD prions and reduces infectivity. What the medical industry won’t tell you is that wasting disease in all life forms is a result of lack of proper nutrition and proper uptake and use of that nutrition.
HOW HUMATES ARE USED TO PREVENT AND REVERSE DISEASE:
Chronic wasting disease (CWD) is a contagious prion disease affecting several species of captive and wild deer. CWD infectivity can be released into the environment by decaying carcasses and biological fluids including urine, feces, and saliva. Soils act as an environmental carrier for CWD. Here, we tested the role of a soil It has been found that incubation of CWD prions with high concentrations of humic acids (>2.5 g L-1) decreases the both CWD-prion signal and infectivity. By broadcast spreading at feeding stations and food plots, humates improve the availability of nutrients in soils and plants that are depleted thus helping lowing CWD cases in the future. Supplementing humates in feed has also shown improvement in gut health and the growth of horns and the animals itself.
