FLOWERS – ROSES

Well, not literally weeds… Jan is one of our customers who has been applying micro humates to her seeds and 1-3mm to the soils of her ornamentals, fruits and vegetables for the past two years. She is an advocate of organic heirloom seeds and harvests her own seeds for replanting each year.
ROW CROP – WHEAT

GRAPE VINES
“WE WANTED THE BEST START FOR OUR BABY VINES …. and, uh, sam… we had clusters of grapes growing within 3 months from baby vines!!! “WE also HAD SOME DISEASED TREES and IN TWO and a half WEEKS THEY WERE SPROUTING NEW GREEN LEAVES… WE HAVEN’T SEEN ANY GREEN IN OVER A YEAR. THIS STUFF COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING.”
John is the head Viticulturist at Texas Mead Works in Fredericksburg, Texas. He has been a dear friend of Grunen for years and has seen what we believe in, come to fruition. Each year they apply humates to the grape vines and are now experimenting with the dressing their diseased live oak trees with the concentrated liquid humates to save them and bring them back to life! YARD LANDSCAPING
“I’ve never seen these plants before. Where did they come from? And, look at the grass, how thick it is. no wonder people drive by so slow when they pass the place… they’re amazed! it looks like a jungle!”
William applied two 40lb bags of Grunen Humates to his approx. 1/2 acre yard at the first of last year. The results have been unbelievable to say the least. Plants that have been dormant for no telling how long, sprung up with vengeance, the grass became much thicker and now grows at almost twice the rate (job security for the yard guy… he loves this lol), any plants that were introduced have taken off, are surviving and thriving, the existing plants continue to stay green and plump throughout the year except for some of the native perennials (although, they lasted much longer this year – 2025). The soils are full of microbes and earthworms which have attracted new wildlife such as ravens, various other birds, raccoons and pesky armadillos who love digging in all of the fresh healthy soils. This is now a great example of how a healthy working ecosystem is possible in just a residential yard.
VEGETABLES – ASPARAGUS
“You’ll never believe this, but I accidentally forgot to put humates on a row of asparagus and it is hardly growing compared to the row I used humates on! It’s a huge difference!”
Susan planted a new garden this year and has great documentation of using humates vs. not using humates. She is now a believer and because using humates is such a simple amendment, she plans to continue using them to make her life easier.
